PIX Moving at the Paris Auto Show 2026: Cars That Transform Into Cafés, Boutiques, and Living Spaces

This is the vision presented by PIX Moving, a Chinese technology company rooted in Guiyang, unveiled at the 2026 Paris Auto Show.

With its three models RoboBus, RoboShop, and Beastie, PIX Moving aims to push the boundaries of conventional mobility by merging autonomous driving, artificial intelligence, and modular design.

A New Generation of Intelligent Vehicles

Founded in 2017, PIX Moving develops urban robotics solutions built around the concept of Autonomous Mobile Spaces, or autonomous mobile spaces.

By rethinking traditional automotive architecture—especially through vehicles without a steering wheel or pedals—the company turns the cabin into a fully customizable space.

The RoboBus offers an autonomous transportation solution designed for neighborhoods, campuses, and urban districts. The RoboShop reimagines neighborhood commerce by enabling the creation of mobile cafés, dining spots, or retail outlets. Finally, Beastie demonstrates a new approach to urban electric mobility that is compact and innovative.

When Mobility Becomes a Business Opportunity

Beyond technological prowess, PIX Moving is exploring new economic uses.

In Guiyang, China, its WonderLoop project blends autonomous mobility, tourism, and entertainment through panoramic vehicles, mobile shops, and even mobile karaoke spaces.

This initiative allows testing new urban services while assessing their commercial viability.

The company is also developing business models based on rental, subscription, and the Robot as a Service (RaaS) model, giving businesses and municipalities new ways to operate and deploy these technologies.

Together with international partners, including NIT in Serbia, UMPSA in Malaysia, and CAIITECH in Germany, the company aims to develop collaborations with transportation players, researchers, and urban services.

Its ambition: tailor its technologies to the needs of international markets and help conceive the cities of tomorrow.

With PIX Moving, automobiles no longer merely transport passengers: they become intelligent, autonomous, and multifunctional spaces capable of transforming how we live, work, and consume.
