OD Cyprus kicked off tonight on Noovo’s airwaves, and to be honest: many viewers were eagerly awaiting this TV moment.
The production, through its numerous posts, promised big entertainment in addition to having revamped its format, especially compared to the last few seasons.
And that is exactly what happened, because right from the episode’s opening minutes, we were treated to a red carpet very different from what we were used to.
Thus, through the early choices of the guys and the gals, their reactions and their exchanges, several moments — or contestants — already captured our attention… and promise a season that won’t lack spice.
So here are five of our favorites from the first night of Occupation Double!
A Very Colorful Candidate
Impossible not to highlight contestant Naomi. If you watched the episode, you surely noticed her! She clearly doesn’t mince words, coupled with exceptionally high energy. Just minutes after meeting a contestant, Charles, she already asked him to take off his shirt. A contestant who’s bound to spark chatter…
She even mentioned that she felt very beautiful when she saw herself on the banner… and we love this unapologetic self-confidence!
The Narcissistic Candidate?
There’s also a contestant who caught our attention… but perhaps not for the right reasons. Meet Arnaud, who seems especially comfortable when it comes to talking… about himself. From his first interactions, you could sense he kept repeating the same lines and didn’t seem genuinely interested in getting to know the women around him. Is it simply nerves, or is he truly self-centered? We may be in for a surprise along the journey… but for now, he’s intriguing.
Yes, he owns a restaurant and has another in development… and he also felt desired during the speed dates.

An Early OD Couple?
Let’s talk now about Danick, a dad, and Cindy. From their first group-date encounter, chemistry was undeniable. Their body language left little doubt, and they quickly admitted they liked each other. Danick, for his part, seemed less inclined to pursue other girls, preferring to focus on Cindy. Could we be witnessing the birth of the first OD Cyprus couple? It’s early to say… but their connection is worth watching closely.

The Famous French (And First!)
It’s during the bottle-drawing game that two contestants earned the merit of the season’s very first kiss. A French kiss exchanged as the singles tackled the questions and dares.
So it was Lauriane and Arnaud who first shared a kiss on the cheek… before, moments later, the two contestants sealed the long-awaited first kiss.
Arnaud also particularly enjoyed the moment, as he later noted:
“It was perfect: just enough lips, just enough tongue, no teeth… really chef’s kiss!”
The Candidate and the Candidate to Watch Out For…
C’est à la suite d’une question qui demandait aux candidats de choisir qui, parmi les filles et les garçons, leur paraissait le plus menaçant et avec qui ils ne voudraient surtout pas se retrouver dans un triangle amoureux, que Mathis et Béatrice ont gagné ce titre… peu envié.
On leur a donc automatiquement demandé de quitter le tapis rouge. Leur avenir dans l’aventure semblait alors plutôt compromis…
Mais quelques instants plus tard, revirement de situation : les deux exclus de la première heure ont été appelés à jouer un rôle clé. Ils devaient chacun choisir un garçon et une fille à faire entrer officiellement dans l’aventure, soit Laurie et Anthony.
Mais, quant à leur propre sort? Nul doute, nous croyons, qu’ils auront leur place!
