Longtime inspiring artist, Marie Denise Pelletier, made a rare appearance on the television show Bonsoir Bonsoir, where she sat down for an interview alongside host Jean-Sébastien Girard.
During the interview, the singer shared details about her various upcoming projects, one of which is a lifelong dream coming true—she will be performing on the stage of the Plains of Abraham during Canada’s national celebration.
This is a wish she’s harbored for years, and it’s finally set to happen very soon.
“(…) It’s a dream coming true for me. I’ve performed on Canada Day in the past (…) Several times in Montreal, in Laval, and elsewhere, but it’s been at least 20 years since I last took part in a major celebration with a full production. When I was 15 years old, fifty years ago, I went with my friends—my crew—up to Quebec City to see performances on the Plains of Abraham (…) I was always in front, hoping one day, you know, that I’d be on that stage. And now, fifty years later, I’ll be singing my songs right there on the Plains of Abraham,” Marie Denise shared, visibly excited just talking about it.
