Nutrition can extend life and improve its quality. Around this concept lies the core of the Valter Longo Foundation’s work—a collective commitment built on science, dedication, trust, and hope.
Over the past five years, the Foundation has achieved meaningful results:
- 17,654 nutritional consultations, of which 8,771 were subsidized or free, to make prevention accessible to everyone;
- 24 events and educational activities conducted free of charge in more than 1,500 schools and aimed at families, teachers, communities, and especially the 85,000 students and children participating through a widespread presence in 3,000 cities across 45 countries worldwide, thereby bringing education and awareness to new generations;
- four clinical studies currently underway, to continue turning scientific research into tangible health benefits;
- ten Foundation Longevity Centers opened in Italy, including one inside the major hospital facility “Villa Betania of Naples,” operating in an area with one of the highest rates of obesity and overweight among school-aged children in Europe;
- 31 works of scientific outreach, to make science clear, accessible, and useful in daily life;
- three Nutrition & Longevity Festivals in Italy and two in the United States, with a total attendance of 19,000 people;
- numerous outreach and prevention programs also within enlightened companies, which have chosen to promote healthy nutrition through welfare and well-being projects for employees and their families.
The numbers are meaningful and point positively toward the future. Even for 2026, the Valter Longo Foundation confirms its mission: to change lives through nutrition.
