“In fact (…) I’m lucky to have jobs in radio and in television, but something steady, you know. I’m here every week, forty, forty-five weeks a year. Spending six months away, a year, traveling the world, that’s something I’d love to do. But right now, what do you want—we’re here with work, I love what I do, and I support my family, and that’s that. Yet at the same time (…) the real dream would be to say: Look, folks, you know what? Six months, I’m leaving. We’ll see each other again in six months, in a year, and I’ll travel around the world,” he reveals.
Maripier then told him she wasn’t sure he’d be game.
“That’s the thing,” he replies, before his colleague adds that it would take a solid mental readyness, but if that’s truly what he wants, she wishes him the energy and fire needed to get there.
