“There was zero dizziness,” Isabelle said, explaining that she was genuinely ready to live that period of singlehood. She also shared that she had always been a very autonomous woman and valued the freedom that this phase of life gave her.
Following this confession, Kim Rusk asked her guest if she had nonetheless “dated,” gone out with a few people during that period of singledom.
“The first year, I didn’t want anything to do with it. I wasn’t AT ALL interested. You know, after so many years of sharing a life, just being by myself felt good, I wasn’t interested. Then, after that, I started dating,” she reveals.
As the saying goes, everything comes in its own time. After this stretch of singledom, during which she simply wasn’t interested in meeting new people, life ultimately offered a beautiful surprise: meeting her partner, who visibly fills her with happiness.
