Isabelle Racicot was recently a guest on the Velours podcast, hosted by Kim Rusk, a show where guests are encouraged to open up with authenticity about topics sometimes considered taboo. In this episode, they tackled several themes, including singledom, love, sexuality, and the realities of life in your fifties.

Let’s note that after confirming her separation from Donald Robins, her ex-husband and the father of her children, in 2024, Isabelle Racicot had surprised many people in January 2026 by revealing, after dropping a few hints, that she had found love again.

“What is it? Who is he? How long has it been? What’s his name?” Maripier Morin had asked on Rythme FM.

“Yes, I’ve been dating this man for six months,” she confirmed.

Following her divorce, before finding love again, Isabelle Racicot did go through a period of singlehood. Kim Rusk took the opportunity to ask her about this pivotal chapter of her life and how she experienced it. To discover the host’s confessions, read on below.

Elle ne voulait rien savoir

After admitting that she is now fully thriving in her love life and that she greatly valued her period of singledom following her divorce, Kim Rusk asked her what she liked most about that chapter of her life.

“There was zero dizziness,” Isabelle said, explaining that she was genuinely ready to live that period of singlehood. She also shared that she had always been a very autonomous woman and valued the freedom that this phase of life gave her.

Following this confession, Kim Rusk asked her guest if she had nonetheless “dated,” gone out with a few people during that period of singledom.

“The first year, I didn’t want anything to do with it. I wasn’t AT ALL interested. You know, after so many years of sharing a life, just being by myself felt good, I wasn’t interested. Then, after that, I started dating,” she reveals.

As the saying goes, everything comes in its own time. After this stretch of singledom, during which she simply wasn’t interested in meeting new people, life ultimately offered a beautiful surprise: meeting her partner, who visibly fills her with happiness.

We wish Isabelle Racicot and her partner lots of happiness for the rest of their story. May they continue to share precious moments of complicity, joy, and love, while creating a wealth of beautiful memories together. Her testimony also reminds us that every path is unique and that the most beautiful connections sometimes arrive when you least expect them. We wish them a fulfilling relationship and many years of happiness together.
