What if beauty could be tasted as much as it’s worn? For this season’s return, dedicated to sensoriality, Gisou, the beauty brand founded by the famed influencer and entrepreneur Negin Mirsalehi, unveils a collaboration as unexpected as it is utterly crave-worthy with the master of French pastry Cédric Grolet. A meeting of two worlds, honey-infused skincare and haute gastronomy, that gives rise to a unique activation on the occasion of the Paris Fashion Week.
An alliance of beauty and gastronomy
At the heart of this collaboration? A shared desire to sublimate honey, Gisou’s signature ingredient and the throughline of Negin Mirsalehi’s family heritage, six generations of beekeepers. Since its beginnings, the Dutch brand has made its mark with clean, effective, and sensorial formulas, all enriched with honey from the Mirsalehi garden, cultivated with care and ethics.
On the other side, Cédric Grolet, crowned the world’s best pastry chef, is also a craftsman of flavor, passionate about textures, bold flavors, and noble ingredients. The meeting of these two sensibilities could only yield a creation as refined as it is indulgent.
Three New Shades of Honey Infused Lip Oil
The starting point of this collaboration? The launch of three new shades of Gisou’s iconic Honey Infused Lip Oil, a lip care product that’s ultra-glossy, hydrating, and has become a staple in the beauty scene within just a few years.
Here are the three new shades:
- Vanilla Glaze : a milky beige with a subtle pearlescent finish, draping the lips in a soft, sweet veil, like vanilla frosting.
- Sticky Toffee : a warm, golden caramel, enveloping with a syrupy gloss — like a melting candy on the lips.
- Milky Mocha : a milky brown with chocolatey undertones, perfect for a naturally sophisticated pout with a caffeinated twist.
Each shade is enriched with Mirsalehi honey, but also with Mirsalehi Honey Bee Garden seed oil for long-lasting moisturization with no stickiness.
Cedric Grolet designs Three Exclusive Pastries
To celebrate the launch in grand fashion during Paris Fashion Week, Cedric Grolet imagined three exclusive pastry creations, directly inspired by the new lip oil shades. And as always with the chef, each dessert is a work of art.
- The Vanilla Glaze : a pristine white sphere with a Madagascar vanilla center, glazed with Mirsalehi honey, perched on a pollen-crisp sablé.
- The Sticky Toffee : a golden dessert with notes of date, caramel, and hazelnut, wrapped in a honey-infused mirror glaze. Ultra creamy, ultra decadent.
- The Milky Mocha : a delicate chocolate-coffee bite, marrying a rich ganache, light mousse, and honey pastry. A perfect balance of bitterness, sweetness, and intensity.
