EEMI’s Bachelor in Web Development: A Comprehensive Digital Skills Program for Aspiring Tech Professionals

The European School of Internet Professions (EEMI) offers a comprehensive three-year Bachelor’s program in Web Development. This course combines technical training, digital culture, and practical experience within companies to prepare students for careers in the fast-evolving digital landscape. The goal is to develop versatile developers capable of adapting to the constantly changing world of online technologies.

Two Years of Cross-Disciplinary Foundations

What sets EEMI’s Web Development Bachelor apart is its interdisciplinary approach. The first two years are built around a shared core curriculum with students studying Digital Marketing and Graphic & Digital Design. This integrated model aims to give students a solid grounding in digital literacy while laying the groundwork for specialization in their third year.

The curriculum is divided into three main areas. In Graphic Design, students learn the fundamentals of visual communication, including using Adobe Suite, Figma, and designing visual identities. The Digital Marketing component introduces students to WordPress, SEO best practices, content strategies, and online marketing basics. On the Web Development side, students dive into HTML/CSS integration, back-end development with vanilla PHP, asynchronous JavaScript, as well as Linux systems and server management.

The Third Year Focuses on Pure Development

In the third year, students shift gears entirely toward software development, honing in on advanced programming languages, tools, and methodologies relevant to modern web developers.

This phase covers object-oriented PHP, creating SASS frameworks, and using essential tools like Git and Docker. Students also learn to design and manage databases using SQL, get introduced to algorithms, and learn project management with Agile (SCRUM) practices.

Front-end development is deepened through vanilla JavaScript, while new approaches such as low-code/no-code platforms like Supabase are explored. The program further emphasizes UX/UI principles by teaching how to design interactive prototypes using Figma, giving students a well-rounded grasp of user experience design.

Recognized Degree and Industry Certification

Graduates of EEMI’s Web Development Bachelor’s receive their diploma along with a professional certification called “Digital Project Manager,” registered with the French National Directory of Professional Certifications (RNCP) under number 35541.

This certification is recognized at Level 6, equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree (BAS+3), and attests to the program’s high standards and quality. It was officially validated by France Competences in April 2021.

Flexible Education Paths: Full-Time or Work-Study

EEMI offers adaptable learning formats to fit different schedules. Students can choose to pursue the program either full-time or through an apprenticeship from the very first year.

In the full-time format, students undertake two months of internship each year, culminating in four months during their third year. The apprenticeship model evolves over the course of the program, with students splitting their time between two days in the classroom and three days working at a company during the first two years. By the third year, the schedule shifts to one week of classes followed by three weeks in the workplace.

The first year of the program is also accessible via the Parcoursup platform. Admissions involve an application review, a phone interview, a motivation interview with assessments, and, upon acceptance, submission of a formal enrollment dossier.

Plentiful Opportunities in a Growing Industry

After completing their studies, graduates are qualified for roles such as front-end developer, back-end developer, web integrator, or interface designer. These professions, which require both technical expertise and adaptability, are highly sought after by agencies, startups, and digital departments within large corporations.

Thanks to project-based teaching and strong industry immersion, EEMI students enter the job market equipped with practical skills and a flexible mindset, ready to meet the demands of the digital economy.

Three Campuses, One Mission: Developing Web Talent Nationwide

With campuses located in Paris, Lyon, and Orleans, EEMI offers students an environment closely connected to regional digital ecosystems. These locations facilitate active professional networks, internships, and apprenticeship opportunities suited to local industry needs.

The academic year begins each September or October, welcoming new students into a community focused on innovation and digital excellence.

A forward-looking Education Serving the Digital Future

By combining technical mastery, multidisciplinary learning, and real-world experience, EEMI’s Web Development Bachelor positions itself as a leading program for those aspiring to thrive in the digital field.

Built on principles of precision, agility, and creativity, the school proudly responds to the evolving needs of the industry—supporting students’ ambitions while preparing them for successful careers in the digital age.
