Here we go for eight days of festivities! Fashion lovers are buzzing, and for a good reason… The kickoff of Fashion Week has been sounded in Paris this September 29. Through October 6, 76 runway shows are on the calendar and 37 presentations. Thus, during this opening night, two brands unveiled their Spring/Summer lines. There was Yves Saint Laurent at the foot of the Eiffel Tower and L’Oréal on the forecourt of the City Hall. Naturally, as usual, celebrities crowded these events. If Carla Bruni, Catherine Deneuve and Charlotte Gainsbourg sat front row at the YSL show; Eva Longoria and Iris Mittenaere made a splash at the other event.
Indeed, it was unthinkable that the woman who embodied Gabrielle Solis would be absent. And for good reason… The American actress is the face of the brand since 2005. That makes it 20 years she’s been working with L’Oréal. So, of course, on this September 29, there’s no denying that Santiago’s mom was given a prime front-row seat. Alongside her, the organizers placed Iris Mittenaere, Miss France and Miss Universe 2016.
Filmed by our colleagues at Paris Match, the two women exchanged a very warm greeting. Unfortunately, the American star, aged 50, didn’t realize she was being recorded. After embracing the partner of Antoine Dupont, she apparently made a grimace that some interpret quite clearly: Eva Longoria dislikes Iris Mittenaere.

After planting a kiss on Diego El Glaoui’s ex, the actress turned her head, and made a rather funny face. Knowing that this moue wasn’t exactly appropriate and caught on camera at the last minute, Eva Longoria over-acknowledged the Paris Match cam as if to deflect attention. Running her hands through her hair, she appeared quite embarrassed by what had just happened.
Luckily, Eva Longoria was able to slip away discreetly afterward. From observers, she has gone from being an onlooker to a star. Indeed, alongside the other brand ambassadors, Jane Fonda, Gillian Anderson and Kendall Jenner, the four of them walked the runway under the motto Liberté, Égalité, Sororité You’re Worth It (“You’re worth it,” the brand’s slogan). For the occasion, Kim Kardashian’s younger sister chose a stunning white sheer dress with a very daring neckline.
