“What a joy to announce that my new country-folk album, released yesterday, is already sitting at No. 1 on the sales charts! Thank you all for your incredible support,” Nathalie Simard shared, clearly grateful.
A Dream Comes True
For Nathalie Simard, this first foray into country-folk, her 21st album to date, represents a dream she had long cherished. Mostly made up of original songs, Par les temps qui courent is produced by Toby Gendron, with the collaboration of Sylvain Michel, a duo she has also worked with on her Christmas album, Mon Noël.
“Today the stars align. The moment has finally arrived! With my longtime collaborators Toby and Sylvain, and the brilliant lyricist Frédérick Baron whom I met thanks to the Evangeline musical—whose words heal the soul—and Daniel Laquerre whom I’m about to launch Par les temps qui courent, a country-folk album with touches of new country,” Nathalie Simard proudly announced when unveiling the release of an album that surely means a lot to her.

In addition to her notably successful new album, Nathalie Simard is gearing up to tour with the Christmas show Mon Noël. With her warm, inviting voice, the singer will revisit the season’s greatest classics.
With Mon Noël, the singer will perform in Quebec’s biggest cities—Montreal, Quebec City and Laval—in November and December. With a voice that is both gentle and powerful, we can expect Nathalie to deliver moving performances!
Also, let’s note that Nathalie Simard remains on tour with the Evangeline musical team.
Also starring Olivier Dion and Maude Cyr-Deschênes, among others, the show tells the legendary love story of Evangeline and Gabriel. The tour will stop in Quebec’s major cities… additional dates have even been announced!
