After Aime’s Success, Mathilde Lacombe Launches Ollie, a New Teen Skincare Brand

After scoring broad success with her Aime brand, Mathilde Lacombe is launching a new venture with Ollie, a skincare line entirely dedicated to teenagers and tweens. In a climate where beauty routines start earlier than ever, this new brand aims to fill a clear market gap: skincare that is truly suited to young skin. Today, many teens adopt routines picked up from social media, sometimes made up of products that are too harsh or unsuitable. Ollie aims to offer a safer, simpler, and above all more educational alternative.

A simple, healthy, and educational approach

The Ollie philosophy rests on one essential idea: young skin doesn’t need complex routines. The brand champions a minimalist and effective routine, centered on three core actions: cleanse, moisturize, and protect the skin’s natural balance.

The goal is clear: to avoid overdoing skincare and the trend-driven routines that can weaken teens’ skin barrier. No unrealistic promises or overly potent actives here, but a gentle, reassuring, and accessible approach.

Beyond products, Ollie also positions itself as an educational brand, guiding young people through their first skincare experiences and their relationship with self-image, with a positive and caring outlook.

Bridging parental safety and teen pleasure

With Ollie, Mathilde Lacombe aims to bridge two worlds that are often at odds. On one side, brands for babies that are perceived as too limited for teens; on the other, adult skincare that can be overly complex, too active, or not well-suited for this age group.

The challenge, then, is to bring together two different expectations: the safety and transparency demanded by parents, and the enjoyment sought by teens. To do this, the brand relies on ultra-safe formulas, tested and supervised, while offering pleasant textures, gentle scents, and modern, attractive packaging.

A vision born from a mother’s experience

In its approach, Mathilde Lacombe also draws on her personal experience. “I imagined and created Ollie first and foremost as a mom of three children, including two young teens aged 11 and 13,” she explains.

She notes a market gap: a highly segmented offering between baby products and adult skincare, leaving little room for teenagers. A pivotal life stage that deserves particular attention, without pressure or coercion. For the founder, this stage of life merits special care, and Ollie aims to be a reassuring presence—like a big sister—guiding teens as they discover their skin and their identity.

Spotlight on the flagship products

The lineup features a deliberately short, ultra-accessible range designed to support teens in a simple yet essential skincare routine. Each product has been crafted to meet a specific daily need, without overloading the skin or complicating the routine.

First up is Clean vibes Cleansing Mousse (about $15), which purifies the skin gently and removes impurities gathered throughout the day. Next is Skin crush Hydrating Gel-Cream (about $18), a lightweight texture that hydrates without a greasy feel and helps maintain the skin’s balance.

The brand’s star product is Skin reset SOS Mist (about $19), a true multitasker for the face and body. This spray, formulated around a single ingredient, purifies, soothes, and helps limit imperfections. A daily ally prized for its quick effectiveness and ease of use.

The routine is completed with Cool kid Deodorant (about $9), designed to accompany teens in their early hygiene habits, and Best Balm Forever Lip Balm (about $11), created to nourish and protect lips day after day.

Finally, Hair & Body Scented Mist (about $19) adds a sensory and enjoyable note to the routine, wrapping skin and hair in a light, pleasant fragrance.
