I used to have a big mustache!

This week, Richardson Zéphyr has taken a seat on the set. True to himself, Rich arrived unfiltered, bringing that precise sarcasm and his knack for a punchline that’s increasingly setting him apart on the comedy stage. Between sharing glimpses of his projects and looking back on his journey, he delivered an interview that was as direct and funny as it was surprising.
The rapport with Guy A. quickly formed — admiration was clearly on display. And as the conversation progressed, one moment in particular stood out when a past project of Zéphyr resurfaced… creating a surprise as unexpected as it was memorable.
Several years ago, the man who plays the priest in Lakay Nou revealed a story that was as astonishing as it was impressive.
We’re talking about an appearance in a music video — and not with just anyone. No, no.
A Project Credited to One of the World’s Greatest DJs: David Guetta
However, as he explained on the Tout le monde en parle set, he wasn’t even supposed to land that extra role to begin with. An unexpected twist that makes the anecdote even tastier… and explains why that moment remains etched in his memory.
The whole thing happened at Guy’s request, who remained as impressed as ever by someone who has accomplished so much over the years.

“Well, it was shot in Quebec, in Saint-Marc-sur-le-Lac. I think there were auditions for the roles, and the actor who was supposed to play my part had flubbed it the day before. So the producer convinced the director, who’s British, to cast me by showing him my Facebook profile photo… because I had a big mustache! The director and I had done improv together in college, and we hadn’t spoken in about five years. She texted me: What are you doing tomorrow? Shooting a clip?… Yep!David Guetta, it was fantastic,” reveals Zéphyr after the clip was shown.

One thing is certain: Zéphyr isn’t done surprising us. Between unexpected projects, unlikely encounters, and on-the-fly opportunities, he proves once again that talent… eventually finds its way.
