Guy A. Lepage Adds Fuel to the Fire: “I’m Cracking Up”

I read the nasty comments and I’m doubled over laughing

During the latest episode of “Tout le monde en parle” (Everyone’s Talking About It), the fractured duo Chest Angina made a striking entrance on set. True to their wild universe, the artists once again blurred boundaries, layering bizarre sounds and nods to their supposed origins from another planet.

An avalanche of reactions on social media

Since this appearance, reactions have exploded on social media: some viewers were frankly upset about their appearance on Everybody Talks, especially given everything happening in the world right now.

Meanwhile, others already knew the duo and were glad to see them on a platform of such magnitude.

Several viewers also discovered — with surprise — Chest Angina and plunged into their universe as original as it is unapologetically theirs.

Guy A. Lepage Relentless

Well, these reactions didn’t fail to provoke a response from the host, Guy A. Lepage, who didn’t hesitate to add fuel to the fire. He fired a few well-aimed jabs at those who didn’t appreciate Chest Angina’s presence on their TV. And let’s be clear… he didn’t hold back.

The naysayers will have to deal with this international success that’s just getting started

He shared his opinion on Instagram, evidently thrilled to have sparked so much chatter since Sunday.

“All musical tastes are in nature, and the comments are pouring in about Chest Angina’s appearance on Everybody Talks. Some dislike it, most enjoy it, including several international artists. Already more than 2 million people around the world have watched the performance clip on social media within 24 hours, and it’s far from over. The naysayers will have to deal with this international success that’s just getting started. Chest Angina will kick off a world tour and several shows are already sold out. Good for them. I read the nasty comments and I’m laughing my head off. In my view, among the top 1000 events currently deemed indecent on the planet, I don’t think Chest Angina deserves to be part of it! And I note with some satisfaction that Everybody Talks About Them!”” wrote the host with happiness and satisfaction.

As Guy notes, numerous projects await the two artists… who certainly have not finished sparking chatter.

As the saying goes: talk about them well or talk about them badly, but talk about them!
