Miss France 2026: Meet Lou Lambert, Winner of Miss Languedoc

Miss France 2025: An Exciting Chapter Nears Its End for Angélique Angarni-Filopon

As the countdown begins, a significant milestone approaches for Angélique Angarni-Filopon, who is poised to pass on her crown as Miss Martinique and newly crowned Miss France 2025. The national pageant takes place every December, marking the culmination of months of competition. Until then, regional committees across France are hard at work, selecting their representatives for the upcoming national stage. These local contests are crucial: they determine the thirty contestants who will vie for the coveted title, but first, the region-by-region battles must be won. To date, eleven regional queens have already been crowned. The most recent is Lour Lambert, who now joins this list of notable beauty queens.

And representing the region of Languedoc, Lou Lambert made her way to the stage. On July 30th, thousands gathered in Alès to watch the pageant unfold. The 19-year-old candidate managed to stand out among fierce competitors who showed unwavering determination. In her profile, Lou reveals she has a sister and has even lived abroad—specifically in Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Highly intelligent, Lou earned an international baccalaureate diploma, a challenging academic achievement.

Currently, this charming blonde lives in Carnon and has just completed her first year studying law. Her dream? “To work someday at the United Nations.” Lou emphasizes her love for challenges and mentions in her presentation video that her family hails from Languedoc “for generations.” Her hidden talent? “I can make authentic Italian Carbonara pasta.” She describes herself as “friendly, smiling, enthusiastic, and very talkative.”

Miss France 2026: The Cause That Matters Most to Lou Lambert

Following her heartfelt introduction and her time in the spotlight, Lou Lambert took to the camera to share a personal message. “Now, I want to draw your attention to a cause that means a lot to me: medical prevention and listening to your body,” she begins, her voice sincere. “A simple health screening can change everything, so think about getting checked,” she urges before revealing a significant personal journey. “This awareness came to me in 2020 when I found out I have an autoimmune disease. It’s rare, it’s invisible, but it’s there.”

She continues with resilience in her tone, “I’ve learned to live with it; it has made me stronger, taught me resilience, and now I savor every moment. So, now I am ready to take on the challenge of being Miss Languedoc.”

This unwavering determination might just impress the panel of judges, whose composition remains a secret for now. Historically, the last Miss Languedoc crowned was Alexandra Rosenfeld in 2006. If Lou is to be crowned, it would be exactly twenty years after Rosenfeld’s victory, a milestone that adds another layer of significance.

In August, three more regional pageants are scheduled: Miss Roussillon on August 2nd, Miss Réunion on August 23rd, and Miss Mayotte on August 30th. These upcoming competitions will determine the next set of contenders who could secure their spot in the national contest.
