On her end, comedian Mariana Mazza is bringing her show Foie Gras to venues across Quebec with more dates on the horizon. She also hosts Livre Ouvert, a literary magazine on ARTV, reflecting her deep passion for literature.
«And if, behind what you see, there was another truth… Since I was little, I’ve taken up all the space for fear of being erased. I speak loudly to mask my anxiety, which doesn’t know how to whisper. People say I provoke, but deep down I just want to make people laugh, because being truly authentic is hard. And what if we allowed ourselves to remove our armor, to embrace our sensitivity instead of hiding it so we no longer doubt who we are… To simply be. Many people know who I am, but few people truly know me. But this time, it’s really me,» she confided in a promotional video for the show.
