Let’s recall that Jean-Philippe has a brand-new project that is likely to be very popular with viewers. Indeed, he has chosen to recreate Sweet & Salty, hosted by Mélanie Maynard, but in a winter version, where he will himself be the host and producer.
The show will be titled Sweet Frost!
“After nearly half a century of shining a light on our culture under the sun, Sweet & Salty will don its winter coat, gloves and boots in the winter of 2026! Headed by Jean-Philippe Dion, the popular cultural magazine will warm your homes from Monday to Wednesday with colorful interviews and segments that are more entertaining than ever. Stay tuned to discover the various collaborators who will join this 100% winter format,” announced the team behind the project, visibly excited to unveil this new version to fans of the show.
As anyone who knows him can attest, the producer is also an outstanding host, and he has had the chance, in his life, to interview several stars. It is highly likely we will see a slew of celebrities featured in this new program, which will debut after the holidays.
Well, we now know the identity of one of these stars. Indeed, since Jean-Philippe is in Paris, France, he was able to share a dinner with someone he has already crossed paths with.
A meeting that will be featured as part of Sweet Frost.
Cue the drumroll…
OH YES… none other than Mika…
Joyful reunions!
“Parisian reunions with the always entertaining @mikainstagram! 💙 Can’t wait to bring you all these encounters this winter on @sucregivretva 🥶,” he wrote under this lovely photo.
We also know that the host will welcome Pierre Lapointe, as he himself shared on his Instagram page.
A another appointment that’s sure to be highly engaging, promising conversations filled with originality, sensitivity, and confidences that only Pierre can offer.
There’s little doubt this new TV project will be highly entertaining…
That should warm up living rooms, bring a bit of light to the heart. A show perfect for beating the winter blues and starting the year on the right foot!
Debuting on January 5 at 7:30 PM, on TVA and TVA+.
