Health Coaching, Longevity, and Wellness: AIHC Meeting Lab 2026 in Bologna, Italy

The annual gathering, promoted by the Italian Association of Health Coaching (AIHC), will bring together clinicians, researchers, coaching professionals, and institutional representatives.

The day on November 7 will focus on “Beyond care: the role of Health Coaching in new models of longevity and well-being”.

The day will offer an interdisciplinary dialogue on science, relationships, and quality of life, in line with AIHC’s holistic vision: people, science, and relationships for a longer, healthier life.

The Morning Scientific Program

The morning plenary session will open with institutional greetings and the presentations of Francesco di Coste, founder and honorary president of AIHC, and Stefano Luca Patania, AIHC’s national president.

Domenica Taruscio, former director of the National Centre for Rare Diseases at the Istituto Superiore di Sanità, will address the topic of quality of life in rare diseases, with direct testimony from patients.

Silvia Turroni, professor at Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna, will explore the role of the microbiota in healthy aging. The nutritionist-biologist Maurizio Salamone will instead discuss natural strategies to modulate chronic inflammation.

Following these talks, Stefano Massaro will speak on proactive medicine and the economic sustainability of longevity services, while Cinzia Dalla Gassa, founder of the Intuitive Eating Academy, will illustrate the science of habits applied to coaching. The morning will conclude with a roundtable moderated by Rosario Gagliardi, chair of AIHC’s Scientific Committee.

Experiential Workshops

In the afternoon, experiential workshops dedicated to theater and mindfulness will be led by director and actor Maximilian Nisi, focusing on the longevity ecosystem and the Snoezelen approach.

Position Paper and Poster Experience

In closing, AIHC’s Position Paper will be presented, prepared by oncologist Antonella Romanini, along with the Poster Experience featuring innovative projects developed by AIHC members.
